  1. Ok so plug in your ipod into your computer then enable disk mode. then go to my computer and click on your ipod. theres this hidden folder called "ipod_control". to view it, go to tools, then folder options and select view. mark the one that says show hidden folders and files. then you'll see the ipod_control folder. click on it then it'll show music. so then, just click on the folders inside and copy the music to your itunes or a folder! and about the pics, when you plug your ipod to itunes, just click on your ipod then photos. make sure the "sync photos from:" is not checked it wont touch your pics.

  2. it will be erased unless you still have every thing on your itunes then it will reconize every thing on your itunes but if you have no itunes with nothing on it will wipe it all out

  3. you will need to have a 3rd party tool to help you copy songs in your ipod to computer as itunes blocks the ipod-to-computer transfer, here is a review of top 5 ipod  copying softwares(windows/mac): http://www.ipodtocomputer.net

  4. Download itunes again, then hook up your ipod. itunes should recognize your ipod if it does then go to your ipods music on the left and select all of it you should then be able to drag it up to where your music used to be on itunes when you do this it should make a folder for it on the computer. It did this for me when I tried it.

    Hope this helps!!

  5. just google "transfer ipod songs to another ipod" you will see programs than copy the info off of the ipod and save them in a file.  Then you can access the file by adding that folder to I-tunes library.  the programs are free most times so don't pay, just keep looking

  6. get tune ranger you can transfer everything on your ipod to your new itunes

  7. this is all you need to do go on this site ----------------->http://www.ipod-computer.com/ <--------------

    you download it

turn it on before you hook your ipod to your copmputer

also ipod copy expert will ask you to close itunes first and when you hook your ipod to the computer itunes wont come up.

then when you choose to put the songs into a folder or to itunes.

  8. I don't know that there is a good way around this.  You actually fit the scenario apple is trying to protect itself from; people taking music off other users' iPods.  You may need to call apple support, because if there is a way around this, I doubt the broadcast it.

  9. Check this link out, it helpled me big time, have patience and follow the instructions, 20 minutes tops, and you'll be on your way
