Question:

IPOD is frozen what do i do?!?!

its frozen on the Do not disconnect screen, it is not plugged in to my computer, the buttons dont respond, the hold icon on the screen does not respond, i have already tried resetting it by pressing select and menu simultaneously, WHAT DO I DO!!!

  1. when you hold a Ipod, you hold the action and menu buttons til the apple logo comes up again. If that doesn't work let the battery die then recharge the battery and try turning it on. If that doesn't work either try finding a apple store... http://www.apple.com/support/find/


  2. all you got to do is, hit the menu key and select key for about 5 seconds. and it will reset the ipod, but it will keep ur songs. (:

  3. Hold in the select and the menu button at the same time, until the apple pops up! It will reset your ipod and it will work again!

  4. i had the same problem about a year ago, the best thing is to wait for the battery to die out and wait about a few days for it. Than plug it into the computer and do what you do with it.

    Than before you disconnect it or pull the USB cord out of the computer go to your buttom right hand corner of your computer, there should be an icon of device, right click and click SAFELY DISCONNECT DEVICE.

    Thats the reason why it froze on the dont disconnect screen, if you keep on do that your going to kill your ipod.
