Question:

IPhone 3G MSN Mobile (SMS Text)?

I have the iPhone 3G but I don't have a data plan so I can't (well, technically I probably could but I shouldn't) go on the internet outside of Wi-Fi areas.

Two Questions:

1) If I sign up for MSN Mobile (http://www.gowindowslive.com/Mobile/Land... would it count as me being on the internet?

2) Do I get charged for incoming and outgoing texts even if I have a texting plan?

I'm with Rogers by the way.

Thanks in advance!

  1. If you are using that link to sign into MSN on your iPhone, you are being billed for Internet usage.  If you just have IMs sent to your phone (IM Forwarding) then you should only be billed for text usage.

Yes you do get charged for text even if you do not have a texting plan.
