IPhone 3G advice needed?

Question

I am buying IPhone 3G next week, any advice? what problems pissed you off? is it really "Cool"? what about being a phone?

I read many complaints about IPhone 3G reception does not work well, and alike.

The reasons I didn't get one are

1. Cannot send MMS (Picture messages) you must e-mail them

2. I-Tunes: I will NOT install this piece of c**p software on my home computer.

3. Must purchase a higher priced data plan an extra $30 per month ( I guess for the privilege of owning the all mighty I-Phone)

I do like the look and interface of the I-phone but some key features are missing or do not function as they should IMO.

it scratches easily on the back if you don't have a case i had to replace mines it was defective
