IPhone 3G or iPod Touch?

Question

So,I am in need for a new cell phone, AND a new iPod. So, I just say to myself, why not get an iPhone? Well, people are telling me that I won't use all the features on the iPhone, so I should just get the iPod touch. BUT, why would I want to buy a phone AND an iPod when I could just get both of them in 1.

So, give me your opinion. iPhone 3G or iPod touch?
