IPhone 3G vs Classic iPhone?

Question

What does the iPhone 3G have that the classic one doesn't? Aren't most of the softwares available through an update in iTunes? I'm asking cause i'm planning 2 buy a second hand classic.

IPhone 3G has GPS with A-GPS, better battery, HSDPA worlwide support.

3G hands down!!   way better and cheaper than the new one when it came out
