IPhone Question About settings?

I have an iPhone original (2.0.2) and went into the settings and saw a thing that said "Carrier" Now it vanished.

Can someone explain how to get it back or why it went away.

  1. You might have been roaming on another carrier's network.  That's what happened to me when I went to Europe.  It only displays when you need it.


  2. im not really sure but if ur phone still works normally i wouldent worry about it,and i would take ur phone in and upgrade to the iphone 3G
