IPhone issue...plz plz plz help?

i have 8GB iPhone...the problem is whenever i get to call someone he/she recieves the call but i can't get to hear the ring nor the dial tone nor anything..add to this it freezes for a bit...

another thing it plays music files but yet i hear nothing, neither when i apply the headphones...what could it be? its proabably sounds issure but how can i fix it??

i tried to restore but it cant be resored either it needs some application...please help =(
