I'm a really busy Public Relations rep and I'm constantly traveling and I'm currently in the market trying to find a new phone and I've been looking at the Blackberry and also the IPhone, but not sure which to go with, I do a lot of texting, talking and mostly internet stuff. I don't take a lot of pictures I have a digital camera for that.

Can anyone give me any advise or which one is better cause I know there is a lot of hype around the IPhone!!

  1. If you work in any kind of business where email is KEY then its a black berry hands down. They are tried and tested and by far the best solution with productivity in mind. Also a real key board is much better then a virtual one when you need to type fast and cant risk mistakes.

On the other hand if your a techy and you want an awesome new device with all the flair and hip appz get the i phone. Its new and its doing great things.

  2. ive had my far share of cell phones in my day.

when choosing a cell phone you have to look at what you will be using it for.

blackberry- by far the best company for business users who are on the go with email, web.

iphone- more of a "looks" phone. yes it does support email and internet....but a virtual keyboard will make many mistakes when you are typing an email to a professional. it wouldnt look to good in your part to mispell words in an email.

i have owned 3 blackberrys. bb 7290, bb pearl, bb curve. i currently own the iphone and i have to say it is a great phone....but i would do anything to get a blackberry back in my hands.

i suggest u really take a look at blackberry because they are some of the best phones around.

    hope this helps.

  3. I have to agree with the Blackberry posts above.  I have both an 8800 and and 8100(Pearl).

First thing to find tho, is SERVICE.  If you can't get good service (connections, etc) where you are spending your time, then it doesn't matter what device you have.  Contract, terms, and pricing come after that.

Once you've decided on a carrier and contract, see if the carrier will let you "test drive" both devices (say for 30 days or something) - and then choose, based on which one you like.

  4. iPhone!!!!!!!!!!!!
