IPhone question: How do you update applications via itunes?

I need to download an update for one of my iPhone apps but it is larger than 10mb in size so I can't do it over edge. I would like to download the update via itunes but how do I find the update on iTunes? Thanks!

  1. if you sync the iPhone in the iTunes library that you want to use to update, updating your apps is very easy.

    Under the Applications tab on iTunes (usually below the Podcast tab), there is an option to manually check for App updates. Just click on it and you will see the list of out-dated apps that you have. Either update everything or one-by-one.

  2. usually, if there is an update available, it will say a number to the right of the word "application" the number says how many update are availbale. click on applicatuions and go to the bottom right of teh screen and it will say "get avaiolable updates" click that and it will give a list. click on the one that you need and it will be downloaded in like 3 secs.
