The iPhone 3G is not priced $200 in US. The phone comes with 2-years AT&T contract and you pay the price of the phone throughout 2 years. The $199 is just to take the phone home. The original price is $599 for 8GB without contract. In India, you get the phone prepaid I guess. And people are buying the phone in India for what ? They all know it's a 3G phone but there is no 3G in India. They still work in GPRS which is available in any 2G phone. It's all about hype dude.
