IPod 2.0 software update

Hello, i bought a new 16GB iPod touch today, i got iTunes.

I download an application and sync it to my iPod, it says Sync completed. Ok to disconnect. I open my iPod touch, and my app isnt there.

I was just wondering, do i need iPod 2.0 software update?

If yes, where can i locate it in iTunes, UAE section.

If you bought it today it should come with ipod touch software 2.0, and you would need it to download apps. Make sure that in your itunes settings you have it set up to sync apps with the ipod touch.
