IPod Car Player is Stuck in Electric Socket?

I have a Belkin FM Radio iPod Player. The part that goes into the socket, somehow broke in half and now it is stuck in there. It IS steel/metal whatever but my socket is not in use when my car is turned off. How can I remove it safely?

  1. disconnect the battery from the car, pull out the left over piece, reconnect ur battery, go to the store get a new transmitter, plug it in, continue like it never happened


  2. unplug the battery and get pliers to pull it out
