IPod Classic 60G HELP!?

Question

I have an iPod classic (60GB), And when i try to plug it in to my Vista Computer, the computer asks if i want to "Scan and Fix" my iPod. When i Click No, iTunes Pops up, but iTunes will not recognize my iPod! Can anyone tell me whats happening?
