IPod Help...will my songs transfer or not??

My old computer crashed so I bought a new laptop but now I am wondering if I plug in my iPod into the new laptop will my songs automaticallly transfer to the laptop or not...or all of my songs will be deleted???????????????

yes...the content which u had in your ipod will all be erased once u download itunes in ur laptop n cnct ur ipod with d laptop..

What operating system is your laptop xp, vista?

Don't sync it with itunes, it will delete everything on your ipod. First uninstall itunes, then connect  your ipod to the computer and it should show up in 'my computer', you will then need to show hidden files, then select the ipod drive and copy everything in the 'music folder'.
