IPod Touch Second Generation Release Date?

Question

I've heard all over the internet of the release of the sec. generation iPod Touch in Fall 2008. I decided to wait a little longer to see what Apple puts out in what usually is a sales month in September.

Does anybody know for certain of a new iPod (possibly cheaper/more gb) Touch next month?3
