IPod Touch or Classic?

Question

I'm looking to get a new iPod, (my 1st gen Nano is dying).

Should I get a 16GB iPod Touch for £269,

or a 80GB iPod Classic for £159?

If I were you I'd get the iPod classic.

It's easier to manage,

doesn't get dirty easily,

Is cheaper,

and doesn't have all these unnecessary features.

However if you like technology and gizmo's and stuff like that,

You'd be better off with an iTouch.

Why I wouldn't get an iTouch:

--It gets really dirty with all the fingerprints,

--If you have big fingers it's hard to scroll through the letters

--Another thing with the scroll, while you're scrolling you could accidentally click on an artist you didn't plan on selecting.

--Sometimes when you tip it a little to the side the entire screen rotates and sometimes it takes a while to get it back.

But hey, that's just me. :)

ipod classic ipod touch will seem fun for a while then you will just get annoyed having to use touch screen. The novelty will wear out quickly and they are bound to get new ones out after you buy one!!

I'd get the Touch. It is so versatile and you can do so many other things with it. I have an 8Gb and I haven't filled it. I can't imagine how anyone fills an 80Gb Classic, unless you use it as an external hard drive, as my nephew does.

The iPod classic, although surprisingly cheaper - is much better my friend. More memory, and it's more stable. It actually works and is an amazing purchase. don't be tempted by the price of the touch....it's not all that.

Alright, ive set it out very simply, so you can compare each....

iPod Touch:

-  mainly for videos, and web surfing and playing HD, nice quality games.

-  WiFi enables you to surf the web, download, check inbox mail or even compose mail.

-  huge screen for mini cinema, hd graphics

-  touch screen, easy to use

-  Huge screen, you can play fantastic games.

-  WiFi, you can play games over the internet - multiplayer!

-  Accelorometer, means you cna tilt the ipod for various htings such as photos, landscape or portrait, tilt the device!

-  CAn also be used for driving games, to steer just titl the device!

Downside for the ipod touch:

-  Huge, so if you will carry it around in your pocket you may get mugged, you cna just put it in your purse anyway..

-  Some apps you have to pay for, but are quite cheap,around 6 quid.

iPod Classic

-  Cheap for  HUGE MEMORY!!!

-  Music person, right ipod...

Bad side....

-  same size as touch, so again very muggable...

-  just for music, watch movies nad you'll strain your eyes, too small screen

- not easier to use than the touch...

-  not very good gaems available for it..

-  i cant tell you how to get free games for it

-  cant do much wiht it..

-  fat, ipod touch is thinner.........

So as you can see, i would go for the ipod touch as i hav one....

ITS EXTREMELY GREAT THE IPOD TOUCH.......

If you still cant decide.... got to the link in  teh sources which you can compare eahc ipod against one another...

well if u like just listen ur music & watch movies and more memory get the classic x)

but if u like more options, internet & a big.. very very big display get the Touch.. :D

i prefer the iPod Touch even though the classic is comfortablier o.ô

touch has wifi and i think is more user friendly,

also its better cause of how it shows the cover art
