IPod Won't connect to iTunes?

When I plup my iPod in, iTunes doesn't pop up or anything? Why's that?! How can I sycn it?

  1. This sometimes happens to me. Just open iTunes regularly and then when the iPod is plugged in, the side tab where it says '(your name)'s iPod' (or whatever you named your iPod) click on that and then you should be able to check off a box that says 'Automatically open iTunes when iPod is plugged in'

    And then you can press Sync. It will do it by itself


  2. this happened to me. just unplug ur ipos and trigger the hold switch a coupla times then hold down the menu and center buttons at the same time until the apple logo pops up. make sure that ur ipod is on a flat surface. if this doesnt work, then try plugging it into a dif port thingy. also, keep trying it over again if it doesnt work. i did that once, and it took me like 3 times. but one times it took me once. or u cant try turning off ur comp or making sure u have the newest version of itunes. hope i helped!

  3. First you can see the data cable if its ok or not and next see the compatability with both the system.
