IPod and iTunes help?!?!?!?

Question

my computer recently broke, and i just got a new one.

itunes is installed on this, but i dont want to erase & sync

and it wont let me transfer any purchases.

how do i get it to go back to how it usually is?

none of my songs show up in the "music" section.

do i restore it?

what do i do?

If your running on a mac or a pc for a almost non-existent fee a recovery program named iPodRip will reverse the syncin g process and make all the songs on your ipod go to the itunes.

if you didn't have any purchases like you downloaded them from limewire or something then you have to hook your ipod up to the old computer and check the manually manage music box in iTunes on your old computer.. if you did have purchases from iTunes then all you have to do is sign in in the new iTunes and it should give you all of them. Oh and if you were using limewire and you  backed all your files up on a cd then import the cd into your iTunes and put them on your iPod

you need to sign in to itunes with your username, and then it will let you transfer the purchases
