ok heres the story, my ipod got corrupted a couple of weeks ago, my warranty ends this november, so its still good. so when i found out it was corrupted i looked online on how to fix it and while it was connected to my computer, it fell and made a dent on the back ofthe ipod. so..of course i couldnt fix it, so then i called customer service and everything and told him my ipod was corrupted and we went through steps, then he finally said that i need it replaced, that id either send it in and send 30 bucks or bring it to an apple store nearby, soi chose to bring it to the store, then the guy at the store tried to fix it, then noticed the dent on the back and said the hard drive is right where the dent is, and hes says i can get it replaced for $130 becasue the warranty doesnt cover ipods "that were dropped", but the thing is, it was already broken before the dent, so my question is,
do you think i can fix the dent like how they do it with cars and use a little tool, or do you think they will find out?
and i was also thinking can i just send it in for $30.00 like how the guy on the phone said, and they hopefully wont check it and just send in a new ipod?
