IPod not working?!!!! HELP

my iPod is frozen, like a computer

i put it on hold when i turned it off, and i hooked it onto my compter, and it opened, and then just froze.

when i try to unhold it, it doesn't do anything

Hold in the center button and the menu button at the same time until something happens.

It should restart your iPod

Hold down the center button at the same time as the menu button for 10-15 seconds. That usually resets your iPod.
