IPod problem, is it dead? what next?

I've had my iPod for a little over a year, I got it brand new, in the original box. It has been working perfectly ever since. Two days ago I got an iHome radio type thing. I left my iPod in there for a couple of hours, and when I came back for it I tried turning it on, and it was dead. Nothing I did would fix it. Is it just a coincidence or is it because of the iHome? Does Target owe me a new iPod?

  1. reset it or plug it into your computer. if nothing happens then it might be fried.  unfortunately its not as easy as getting target to replace your iPod if it is fried.  Your gonna have to take your case to the manufacture of your iHome radio and get them to replace/pay for a new iPod

  2. umm try holding the menu and middle bottion at the same time for a few seconds.. that kinda restarts it...

  3. Try taking it to a apple store or calling the help line for the ipod. Or you can try ressetting it. it might be fried since you left it in there.
