IPod shuffle G2 will not turn off!

Question

I got my iPod Shuffle G2 about a year ago, its a one gig. It will play music, and I can put and take off music, but it wont turn off! When I turn the switch off, a green light will start to blink on one side. Its not that big of a problem, but the only thing is that it drains the iPod's power! Anyway, anyone know what I can do to fix it? (oh btw-I have clicked and done the "Restore" button about 5 times)

As i went through your question , i kind of figure that u might have gotten some physical damage thats y the resEt button dont work whenever u try to reset it !

can you fill out a service request form at apple.com? if its under warranty, its free to fix.
