IPod stuck at 0:00 ; won't charge , either .

Question

WELL ,

my iPod won't play any songs . Any song I try to play has the progress bar stuck at 0:00 . Yes , I've tried all songs . It won't play videos , either . I HAVE pressed the > button and it still doesn't work . I tried the 'flipping the hold button and menu center button' method but it still wont work .

HERE'S THE MAJOR PROBLEM .

I also want to restore it through the iTunes function , however I've tried over 2 computers with different iPod USB wires . The 'Do not disconnect' thing doesn't pop up on my iPod , either . I've also tried it in different USB plugs on the same computer . Nothing would work . So , if I can't get it to connect on the computer what could I do ? My battery is red , so I'll need to preserve it until I have any solutions . Moreover , I need to solve my music playing problem . Yes , they are also the right format . I have played them before .
