IPod touch 2.0 update.....?

Question

sooo I bought my iPod touch online through that buy a macbook, get an ipod free deal & it came today. it came with an older software and when I plugged it in, it said to update it, but it costs ten bucks. shouldn't my touch already come with everything updated, or does everyone have to buy this software???

just press the red website in it! I knew its illegal but its the way u want free! the vision is 2.0.2!!
