IPod touch problems?

Question

I have had an ipod touch for about a year and recently, after purchasing the new software four it, my computer now only recognizes it as a camera (which its not) and itunes does not recognize it at all (which means i can't sync music or anything onto my ipod), i was wondering if anybody else has had this problem or knows how to fix it as i have not found answers on the apple site

Contact Apple about this problem and they'll probably replace your iPod as its their fault your iPod got messed up.
