IPod touch return question

Question

My iPod touch has gotten a problem. I'd like to return it from Sam's, where i bought it. I have some questions first.

I got my ipod touch a little less than 2 months ago, is that to late to replace it?

I lost the original sync cable, is that a problem?

The ipod touch is in excellent condition, but it has 4-5 dead pixels and sometimes it won't unlock, and occasionally the ipod wont play music. Is that enough for Sam's to take it back? Thanks!

I came across this site that gives you a free iPod in exchange for you completing a few simple tasks for them. I'm gonna try it out right now! :)

Sam's probably won't take it back since its been two months and you don't have some of the original things that came with it. If theres a problem with your ipod, you should contact apple and see if they will replace it for you.
