IPod trouble. Does anybody know if theres any hope?

ok so heres the deal. i dropped my ipod touch in some water. it was only in it for a couple of seconds, but it powered off. i let it dry out for a couple of days, but now when i plug it in, a red and nearly dead battery appears on the screen with a little white lightning bolt under it. i thought that maybe it was dead so i let it charge for several hours, but when i checked on it nothing changed. And as soon as i unplug it, the screen goes blank again.

i would say that unfortunately there isn't much of a chance of ur ipod recovering the best thing u could do is send it in if its under warranty and hope that water damage is covered!

its most likely the port which you plug the cable into the ipod - if its in its warranty then send it to apple to repair it.
