IPod won't turn on! What's wrong??

It will not turn on and when i charge it, the light comes on but then immediatley shuts off. I never even use it. I just randomly decided to listen to it and it won't turn on. Its a ipod nano by the way.

connect it to a computer. usually that fixes the problem (it did on mine but my problem was a bit diffrent to yours)

if you have had it for a while,,, the battery could have lost its charge. and you would have to take it to apple if your still under the warranty if not.... take it to a local ipod repair shop
