IPod won't turn on????

Question

I just finished watching a movie on my iPod yesterday and I just left it plugged in my iHome for the rest of the day and the morning of today, well today, I turned on my iPod and it went to the beginning of the movie again so I pressed pause and then the screen went black. I've tried restarting it, and plugging it into my computer. When I've plugged it into my computer, the screen went a little blue but it's still pretty much nothing. It hasn't been dropped in water or anything, and the battery wasn't dead, it was fully charged.

you probably over charged it. ipods are only supposed to be charge for about only 3 hrs and you over charged it because you left it all day and so you might need to replace the battery.
