IPod won't work!!! My screen is grey when i connect it to my computer.

i have the iPod video 80gb and now it wont work i click everything. i hook it up to the usb cord and computer but i get a grey screen on it and it makes a noise. HELP PLEASE

if you look at your manual there should be an instruction to reset the ipod. reset it. OR take it to apple

reset the ipod

(toggle the hold button on then off, then press down select + menu for about 15 seconds)

you might have to do this a few times, but it should eventually work.

You may reset or restore your iPod for a try, this way can fix many common iPod problems.

Or you may try this iPod transfer, I always use it to upload music and video to my iPod when my computer cannot recognise my iPod, it works pretty well
