  1. Holy crow! What were you doing...running? Were you taking your BP at the pharmacy, or at home? If at home, calm down and take it again right now. If, after taking it in a relaxed mode, you find it still elevated...make an appointment to speak with your family physician. If these readings were taken at a pharmacy, their equipment could be faulty. Check again (with the same pharmacy, as different machines might put out different readings). Here again, if the readings consistantly read high...see your doctor. Best wishes :)

  2. this is extremely dangerous, i would seek medical treatment right away!

  3. Yes it is.

  4. How did you get this number? Was it by use of a wrist BP checker or by some other means? If you use a battery operated BP checker at home sometimes they give erratic readings and you may need to try fresh batteries and see what the readings are then. If you still get similar readings again you definitely need to get that checked out by a professional. Don't let it panic you. Just slow down, breath deeply and try to relax as you figure out what to do. If you have a drugstore near you that has a BP monitor you could try that to see if it also reads high. Although those aren't very accurate it may give you something to compare.

If it still reads high, please have it checked out by a professional.

  5. very dangerous way to high...

  6. A resting pulse and BP??

YES... this is considered High Blood Pressure! You need BP meds so you can avoid a future stroke! Normal is less than 120/80 (and even that is said to be a little high these days)

HR 146- NOT a good resting Pulse! Normal is 60-100

A Beta Blocker- will correct both :)

  7. yes go to er 104 is very very high and pulse is extra high
