IS 26 too old to become a cop?

I've been told that 26 would be too old to begin a career...

this 26 year old would have a degree in Communications...

what are you thoughts?

  1. Doctors and lawyers graduate at 26 if they go full time...AND THEY START A NEW CAREER....26 is still young and Im 21 !

Just about right actually.  You have some maturity behind you.  I teach at the local academy part time (and Police full time).  We had a cadet that was 56 go through.  He was in good shape and fairly smart.  I ran into him the other day (he graduated from the academy about 2 years ago) and he seemed to be doing alright.  He retired from the service and had always wanted to be a Police Officer.

  8. no as long as your in good shape and you meet the requirements. My best friends mum became a cop at 38
