IS 80GB ENOUGH FOR A PS3 DO YOU RUN OUT?

could you give me some idea of how much content can be stored with 80gb, is 80gb alot. etc.

it is enough... but it all depends on what your gna put on it?.. gna use it just for gaming?.. its waaay more than enough... gna put music, videos, and piks on it.. its still enough... u seem like a person who wouldnt use it, since ur asking the question, sho i would say its enough mate. i gt a 60gb and ive still gt about 20 left, afta game saves, music, piks, and demos, and videos, and includin the 5ish gb some games save on the ps3 to make loadin times smaller, its enough mate

No. You will not run out. I have a whole lot of games, music, and photos on mine and I have only used up 22 GB.

apart from storing movies on the game installs are the biggest space eaters, ranigng from 1GB to 6GB(i think MGS4 is even more than that).

however not all game's require installs so you should be okay, but it means you can fit 80-20 gmae installs on the PS3 at one time which is pretty decent amount.

stuff liek pictures n mp3's you cna fit several thousand so there no issue.

oh Demos take up quite a bit fo space too, n other PSN games. though thats usualy not much more than 1GB each.

the ps3 80gb is enough just to let you know in november they will be coming out with the ps3 160gb w/dualshock controller and backwards compatible $499.99 hope this helps out alot    :)ava06

Depends on what you want to use it for.

I got my 60Gb on launch day, and so far have used about 45Gb.

But I've crammed mine with thousands of photos, videos, and a whole load of music.

If you'll just be using it for gaming, 80Gb is plenty.

The biggest game save file on mine is Oblivion, which comes in at about 3.5Mb.

And any patches/extras for games that I've downloaded are between 25Mb and 100Mb.

The biggest files you'll come across, are probably demos you can download from PSN. They usually come in at about 1.5Gb.

In other words ; 80Gb is plenty.
