  1. Too be honest, being a CNA is not a pleasant job. My three sister-in-laws are all CNA's or have been one and they hated it. The course work is semi-difficult but it really is a dirty job. It requires lots of cleaning private parts of older men and woman, bathing them, cleaning bed sores and what not. They don't enjoy it and it doesn't sound like something i would do. If you don't have to do this, i wouldn't. Don't waste your time doing something you don't even want to do in the first place. You won't get very far if your not passionate about it.

  2. You have to go to school and get licensed.  Nothing is easy in this world is how hungry you are and how much you really want it.

  3. Not sure about the class itself but I assume it'll cover the basics of what you need to know.

The test itself, depending on your state should provide you with the information that you need to know to pass the test.  It is usually a written and a practical test.  The test will cost you and there will be annual fees.

No you don't need to read 200 pages, but there is a good bit you need to read (probably at the most in one night 50pages).
