IS BOARDMASTERS WEEK NEWQUAY EVERY YEAR? & does RADIO 1 go every year?!

Is their a boardmasters week in Newquay every year? Will their be one in 2009 along with chris moyles and radio 1? (do radio 1 go their every year?) Thanks

the ripcurl boardmasters surfing competion which attracts the best surfers from around the world is held every year on the north side of fistral beach, it is usually held during the 1st week of august and yes it will be here again in newquay next year. The music festival is held in watergate bay(2 miles from newquay), i don't know whether moyles will be back next year, but radio 1 itself should be. To enter the surf village on fistral costs £5, you can buy tickets beforehand, the music festival i think is £12.50...DO buy tickets in advance because the event attracts crowds up to 100,000.

Today(sunday) is the final day of the surfing competition and as i live 2 mins from fistral beach i shall be there!!! Google "ripcurl boardmasters" and go to the website, where you can watch it live on the net!!!!!
