IS IT DANGEROUS IF I DROPPED MY PHONE IN THE POOL?

Question

IF I DROPPED MY PHONE IN THE POOL WHILE PEOPLE WERE IN IT, WOULD ANYTHING HAPPEN TO THEM? AND WHAT WOULD MOST LIKELY HAPPEN TO MINE? I WANT TO "ACCIDENTALLY" BREAK MY PHONE.

I don't think it's necessarily "dangerous" if you drop a phone in a pool and people are in it. But, I think it's silly if you want to drop your phone in water.

Nothing would happen to them.  My friend dropped her phone in the pool while i was in it, and it stayed down there for a few minutes because it was dark and we couldn't see that well to grab it.  

When she dropped hers in, what happened to it was it was continuously vibrating, even turned off.  the only way it wouldn't was once we took out the battery.  She ended up having to get a whole new phone (obviously), but phone companies don't cover water damage unless you have insurance on your phone, NOT a warentee.  There is a sticker in the phone by the battery, and if a phone is water damaged it turns a different color, I don't know if the color is different for different companies, ATT is red.  But that sticker is how they decide if they a warentee covers it or not.

if you would drop your phone in the  pool it might just happen to break cause water got in it. unless you have a water proof phone......der?
