IS IT DIFFICULT TO SIT IN A MILWAUKEE BRACE?

I am a 10 year old boy and I am having a milwaukee brace very soon because I have a curve in my neck. A boy at my scout group told me his sister wears a milwaukee brace so knows a lot about it. He has told me when I get mine when I sit the brace will push up and force me to have to sit in a very upright way. he also says sitting at floor level will be very difficult. Are both these things right?

Although I have not worked in elective surgery for years I do remember that the Milwaukee Brace does make you sit up really straight and You will not be able to sit on the floor.  Of course some style of it don't cover the sacrum but it would still be difficult.
