  1. College / university fees over here can be over 8000 UK pounds per year and then there is the high cost of living compared to Canada.  You may want to qualify before you come over.

  2. BTW you should be aware of the fact that a "massage parlour" is a euphemism for a brothel, and being a "massage therapist" can be a euphemism for a prostitute.

  3. University here is quite expensive, most people who are born and brought up in the UK find it difficult to afford going to university here and we have debts to pay back for many years.

Here in the UK an average university student (not studying a longer degree such as law,  medicine, arquitecture etc) can expect to pay around £4000 a year (around 8000 canadian dollars), and stay for an average of 3 years. This is WITH the financial help of the state as all undergraduates get a "student loan" to help pay off their tuition fees.

However, if you're coming from Canada, you will be considered as an International student. Unfortunately you will not be entitled to the same financial back up as a native Britain would. You should expect to pay around £7000 (around 14,000 dollars) a year for your stay at university (of course this varies depending on course and university).

In Canada, I expect you would pay around $5000?

As you would be an International student coming to England, yeah it would be quite expensive. It all depends on where you study though. In areas like London, the cost of living is extremely high and so, the expensive will rise enormously. In places like the North west of England (where I am from :D), the cost will be cheaper.

As for opening up a shop here, a Canadian degree would be recognised as much as a UK degree would.

In my opinion, I would do your course in Canada and perhaps after a few years then come to the UK, only because if you tried to study here internationally, and then tried to set up a business, you would find it EXTREMELY hard finanicially.

    I hope I helped a lil :)
