  1. No it's not illegal.  But if your dad's insurance finds out you got in an accident in his car or something else, they don't have to cover if, if  you live at his residence.  But say parents are divorced and you live at mom's house and go to dads on the weekend, then it's okay he doesn't have to list you.  Because it's not your primary residence.

  2. It is not legal for you not to have coverage. Period.

  3. No, his insurance only covers you if you are listed on his policy.

  4. If you live in the same house as your dad, you are not covered by his insurance.  Is the address on your license different than the address on the registration?  If it is, you are fine.

Even if you are living with him, the only way you could get into trouble is if you got into an accident.  The police have no way of knowing who is excluded from the insurance.

  5. you could try to obtain as much as resource as you can by search the keyword in search engine,if you have good luck there, then your problem solved.however,if you could not find the answer by doing that, here is the relevant resource i prefered.http://carinsurance.expertsupport.info/a...

  6. I suggest you visit a nearby car insurance agent to help. Since I live in Wyoming I can't suggest an agent in Ohio, but here is an website that can help you. http://www.autoadviceonline.com/Auto-Ins...

    Hope it works out
