  1. Missing a period doesn't automatically mean pregnancy. I haven't had in several months, and I'm NOT pregnant. You could have a health problem, you could be under stress, it could be just a random skip. If you have been sexually active in the past month you should definitely take a pregnancy test though, and recheck as directed if it comes back negative just in case. If skipping your period worries you, you could see your doctor, although they probably won't do anything other than a pregnancy test for just one missed period. -Neb

  2. In general delay could be in following cases:

    1. pregnancy (pregnancy tests will discover);

    2. reaction to stress, illness, emotional situations, medication, inflammation of genital organs, etc. (evaluate your life);

    3. wrong use of hormones (including pills);

    4. dramatic weight change (during short period);

    5. menstrual disorder called oligomenorrhea (duration of the cycle more than 40 days, it could be treated in many cases with birth control pills but better to visit your doctor)

  3. the same exact thing happened to me this month, it just never came. i took a pregnancy test and i wasnt pregnant, and i also asked people and they said it happens all the time. calm down and you will be fine, trust me. if your that worried, take a test. good luck!

    i also heard that your period willl skip if you've had a recent change of your diet, or stress.

  4. i would wait a couple more days then take a test. it could just be late if you are stressed or something
