Yes it's necessary. Younger kids need 2 interact and communicate with each other. They need 2 know when 2 play an how. If not @ a early age then when will they learn.

yes it is important because when your child goes to play in school he sees other children and learns many things from them, he becomes creative and also gains confidence, and finally is able to choose right path for him and bright future as well.

not necessary but very good to do. many children who do not go to such schools have trouble with seperation in later life. being in a play school will tech him skills like motor skills and other skills for his/her age level. Also to share as we know and to interact which is unfortunately something i havent had a great time with. A play school techer educates children to develope the skills to think and wonder and want to know why. Also to learn how to do things wit coordination. Play may not seem like a lesson but it developes the way we at and think.

i think its teaching them team work, and how to work together to get a good end result.  if your child practiced for the school play, i think they should go so they can be proud of what they did.  i also think that it teaches social skills and how to work in a group for the same out come.

Play no matter where - either in a structured environment as a school or at home with you allows your child to interact and learn to share and about themselves. In a school setting they learn to separate form you and find things out for themselves and then want to share with you these new skills. Relax and enjoy your kids- school will bethere when they are of school age and kids are only small for such a short time.

I think yes because if they don't play with kids their own age just picture how they might turn out. They may not turn out how you would like them to have because they didn't socialise when they where little.

Do you mean playschool as in preschool? If so then yes! preschool is meant for play. That is how they learn.  Read and Child Dev book.  The playschool teacher is their to guide them in learning appropriate behavior and will most likely see what they are interested in and teach them more about it.  Through play they learn to communicate with theme selves, with others, how to negotiate, how to explore, and many more things.

Kids needs company especially at the growing stage. It can be good either way. At home they need lots of attention, but also need to be exposed out in the real world. You can't keep them home and watch them all the time. They need to socialize and learn to get along with other kids. Once they get to school it's going to be hard to leave them alone because they weren't exposed to any other kids. They're going to whine and cry. Especially for the parents who is always hanging on to their kids. If you can expose them to other kids like going to some entertainment place like Chucky cheese or something where there are lots of kids to interact. By doing this they can learn independence. Kids need to interact with other kids to progress and learn.

It is not necessary to send your child to a play school, but it can be beneficial if  you don`t have time, space or the right environment for your child to develop play skills such as: outdoor play (sand box, climbing, slides, swings, etc.)  dramatic play (dressing up, pretending to "play house", occupational play etc.), creativity (such as drawing, painting, using clay or other materials), having stories read to your child or reading/looking at picture book, songs and movement types of activies, social activities (playing with other kids from time to time), or imaginative play.

Play school teachers try to give a balance of activities for a child to keep their minds active and to give them many developmental tools to grow as individuals. Parents can do the same, but the reality is that most parents do not have the time, energy or resources to help a child stay active for a long periood of time,  that is where a play school can be very helpful for a child.

Playschool/ Preschool...?

Even though my wife was able to stay at home with our kids, We sent all three of them to preschool 1 or 2 days a week for 3-4 hours. If nothing else, it gives your child a chance to interact with others in a somewhat public environment.  Social skill for a youngster are a must!

Our youngest has a speech problem, she started school at 3 y/o. (half a day, 4 days a week) We sent her to a state accredited school that focused on learning or developmental problems.  She is now in kindergarten... She still has a slite speech problem, but is soaring in all other aspects.  Math, reading, spelling... she is much more advanced than the other children in her class.  Oh yea, she loves school!
