IS IT NORMAL TO HAVE A BABY THAT IS 38 WEEKS BE 8LBS 15OZ BY ULTRASOUND

yep, sounds pretty normal. Ultrasounds can be off by a little anyways, so it could be more or less.

My cousin delivered at 36 weeks and her kid was 10lbs 2 oz. Yes it is normal.

they sadi my baby was  over 8lbs  she was born   8 hours later and was 6lb 11 oz.

yes, but also keep in mind they can be off a pound or two in either direction. They told my mom I would be almost 10 pounds and I was 7 lbs 6 oz!

Totally normal. My son was born at 38 weeks and he was 9lbs 6oz so I know that its not that crazy at all.

Yes its normal, its called a high risk pregnancy because complications can happen during the delivery meaning the baby's too big for the birth canal, you might also have to have an emergency C section because of the baby being big...good luck with the baby when its ready, i wish you the best of luck. Also sometimes ultra sounds can be a bit off...well most of the time...

Perfectly normal.  Ultrasounds aren't 100% accurate on the size of the baby.  It's just an estimate.

And I had TWO babies over 10 lbs each and I was never called "high risk" and I never had to have a c-section, either.

Yes, and it's also normal for late-term ultrasounds to be pretty inaccurate predictors of baby's weight.

Ultrasounds are notoriously incorrect with weight that late in pregnancy. Please do NOT buy into the big baby=emergency C section myth. If the baby is in a decent position (not footling breech, etc) vaginal delivery is the safest way to go. My friend gave birth to a 10 lb baby at home. He is a big healthy boy!
