IS IT SAFE?to eat this fish?

my boys went fishing yesterday and caught a Mahimahi(dolphin fish).they brought it home ,cut it up,and found a puffer fish in the stomach of the mahimahi.so the 1st thing came to my mind was FUGU.and that if it is still safe to eat this mahimahi(dolphin fish).thank you

Mahimahi is the most delicate tasting fish out of the ocean. There will be nothing wrong with it, don't waist it.

I would say so.  If you gutted the dorado and then found the puffer in the stomach, there should have been no contamination of the mahimahi.  If you made a mess of the cleaning however, you are probably going to have problems regardless of what the dorado consumed.
