Yep thanks to Democratic congress China is now drilling off the coast of Florida.

China is using its technology to help Cuba drill oil off its shores.

England drills oil off its shores too, there isn't anything we can do about that either.

Exxon, Shell, and BP drill 'our' oil, they are the ones who buy 'our' leases when we sell them.  Thats all we as a nation does.  The United States doesn't have oil nationalization.

Nationalization means that the oil that is drilled from a country, like Venezuela, belongs to the people of that country first, and then the country sells the rest of it on the world market.  

We only have rights to oil within a certain amount of miles, after that we can't consider it 'our' oil.

So no, China isn't drilling our oil, so there is no reason to do anything about it.

Which brings up the fact that going to war over oil with a country of several billion people could be even more counterproductive than going to war with a tiny country of about 22 million.

I don't know that china is personal but there are companies from and owned by people in china doing so. we cant really claim oil unless it in our protected area around the coast line which i think is like somewhere around 50-100 miles.

Not really. But world competition for oil resources has increased since the introduction of China as an uprising superpower. Now finally the worlds providing nations don't have to be manipulated buy simply one power competing for its resources there are now many choices. America talks capitalism and free enterprise but in fact it opposes it viciously.

Yes they have a deal with Cuba to drill off our coast. You will note that Liberals have not spoken out about the possibility of an oil spill from their "fraternal Communist brothers".

No, China is not drilling "our" oil. Cuba is drilling their oil, and China is helping them with it's technology.
