IS It just me or is there anyone else mad how they did the stimulus checks?

Old bills past 10 years were coming out of the woodwork.The president said this would put money back into the economy,but the irs and other past bills that we thought were paid began writing us letters.This has happened to so many people,so how is this helping.?? I think this is a con from the president.

my friend you have a right to be mad,but your anger is misdirected,what our dem/lib brainwashed fellow Americans do not understand is the gov. has no money,what they have,or get is from real taxpaying Americans,and if they do not have enough,they sell gov.,bonds which real taxpaying Americans are on the line for,democrat supporters do not pay tax`s,because they do not work,or they get earned income tax credit,which means if they payed $1000 in payroll tax,they get $3000 back,if the i.r.s. kept you stimulus check it only means you are a real taxpaying American,i.e. an independent American,and you are to be punished

I am confused on your question.  Bills are bills we have them we have to pay them.  The stimulus checks were great, but people used them to pay off debt, or they held onto the money, and they did not go into the retail markets etc... So, the economy was never stimulated.They need to pass the bill in legislation now to help those people that are facing forclosure on their homes.  And, they need to set up safe guards to those who are getting the money so that the money does not get abused by people who are looking to get a free buck.

I went to the local IRS today which was the third visit. I have not received mine yet, only to find out that it has not been sent yet and I filed April 3. I was told by the agent, that there is a 'delay' in mailing them. No explanation was available.

No wonder there is global warming. All the bungled stuff going on is too much.

The prez has put more and more people under stress with this so-called stimulus package. The only thing it is stimulating is higher blood pressure.

Guess I should feel lucky.  IRS believes I only deserve $75 dollars of the tens of thousands I pay in taxes back; while everyone else gets $300-1,200.  Kinda good news bad news I guess.  This administration doesn't feel I deserve a stimulus.

So someone else got my share.  Guess we aren't all equal after all.  I don't even want to cash it....its an insult.
