IS MY EAR PiERCiNG INFECTED????

okay so i got a piercing a few weeks ago and for the past couple of days it has been red, swollen, and it hurts really bad. it feels like a headache on the side of my face. how can you get rid of the infection??? what remedies do you suggest?? i heard sea salt works but how do you apply it on your ear??? thanks

soak it in warm sea salt water....

it definitely sounds infected.  try using a cotton ball soaked in peroxide, and treat your ear with it a couple times a day, and keep twisting the earring even if it hurts to do so.  it should eventually get better, but it might take about a week.

infected. buy H2 Ocean... at mopst piercing stores or tattoo shops. this is sea salt mixed with a cleaning soultion to cleasne and heal. if u wash it  atleast 5 times a day and never play with it, it should be better with in a week. hope it gets better!

its not infected, if you just got it done, you just need to clean it.

btw, where at on your ear is it?
