  1. The things I would worry about with "Mexican" food are the fats. The cuisine is not exactly healthy. The spices they use won't hurt you or your baby, any more than maybe a little heartburn for you (if you already get that).

If you do eat Mexican food, ask for baked chips. If they don't have them, avoid the chips and salsa. For God's sake, avoid refried beans. They're "refried" in lard! Avoid the cheesy foods. Avoid tamales, which usually have the fattier meats inside them.

Try something like chicken fajitas, charro beans, and eat the veggies.

  2. Well obviously Mexican is very good otherwise how would you be already six months, wait a minute you're talking food, sorry my mistake.... go on keep on reading the others and scrap this

  3. I would say yes because you want to expose the baby to all kinds of food.

  4. Sure...

    Ethnic cuisine is not dangerous.

What might be bad for you is some ingredients or dishes regardless of the type of cuisine!

Check with your doctor what specific foods to avoid!

  5. Its not going to make any difference at all.  Our mexicans mothers ate mexican food and there was no complication at all. Not because of the food.

  6. I ate throughout both pregnancies and my boys turned out fine. In fact, my oldest is almost 5 yrs and his favorite food is Mexican food!

  7. i think it's fine for them to eat whatever they want...except anything involving alcohol.

  8. Mexican food is not bad for pregnant women. However, it is high in fat and that can be harmful to your body and the baby if you eat too much of it. You need a diet high in vegatables and fruits, whole grains, lean meats, and low fat dairy profucts like yogurt, milk, and cheese. Weather you are pregnant or not, you want to eat healthy and comsume foods that nourish your body, not damange it with high levels of saturated fat. Talk to your doctor about this.

  9. It's not bad but you might wanna stay away from the high fat and spicy stuff!!!!
