IS My Writing Good? help?

i just wrote it now in about half an hour any advice?

i am 15 by the way:

memories are the feelings and emotions that will stay with you for as long as you want them too.

some are good some are bad and some are the memories of decisions that led you down the road you are on today.

memories may be full of timeless regrets.

if you have no regrets at the end of your road, then you have lived well. never make a decision based on being scared because you will always end up in the wrong place.

some memories are confusing and stick with you until you work out what was meant and then in time, are often forgotten.

do not follow in other peoples foot steps. instead, pave your own roads and plant flowers along the way to look back on and remember how great life can be.never complicate life.

many people will never realise how simple living is. life is not measured on monetary terms, physical posessions or the amount of breaths taken.

no, life is measured on happiness, the love of others which you hold, and the amount of moments that take your breath away.

find yourself. not the physical being you, but the spiritual one.

why are we here? why is life such a thing?

why ponder these questions? why question the bases of your being?

just live and enjoy the present. play now, work...never.

do what you want, love what do.

don't work for money, but for pure satisfaction. if you do not finding happiness within your work, leave.

you may say it is not that simple, but it is. never make a decision based on fear, never make a decision based on money.

live without regret, and when you run out of stones to pave, look back at those flowers you planted and just be.

be with yourself for those final moments before the possible becomes the inevidable.

your body may not remain, but your path will always be there.

the flowers will bloom and grow so high that other will be able to see them from the paths they lead and you will be remembered forever.

living is more important than life itself so stop worrying about the little things and try to find the goodness that still exists within humanity, within everybody, within you,

and just be.

be honest but not mean

thanks! =]

  1. Very mature for fifteen. I hope you keep this and refer to it throughout the years to remind yourself of all the things you hold in your young heart.

  2. good enough for your age sweetie =)

  3. Well, to be honest, it could be better.

Your writing is good, but not great.

It's clear that you lack no insight. Your ideas and ability to expand upon them far surpass your age. However, in a addition to lacking fine grammar and sentence structure, you lack a certain eloquence. That is the defining factor between a good writer and a great writer. But nonetheless, eloquence and structure come with practice and time, as does any skill.

Right now your writing seems colloquial. While it is fully coherent and easy to understand, to improve, you must develop a fervid technique that highlights your ideas rather than making them understandable to all.

I suggest you keep at it. Develop strong technique to match your insight. Then you will be a great writer.
