IS NBC really not doing live coverage of the closing ceremony?

You're right, they want it in prime time.  They aren't even showing it on their live video web page.

NBC is scum.  They also didn't show the gold medal volleyball (indoor) match live.  They want it for prime time coverage tomorrow to earn the advertising dollars.

NBC does this all the time. Unless the Olympic Games is being held here in the U.S. (or Canada), they wont show it live.

h**l, NBC probably wouldn't show it live even if it was being held in Hawaii!

I think NBC should lose the rights to broadcast the Olympic Games. A condition of the rights should be that you broadcast LIVE. Many other networks would love to show the Olympics live, so they should get the rights next time when they come up for grabs.

h**l, give it to the PBS if that means it'll be shown LIVE.
